Markterex ("Markterex," "we," "us") is a marketing and advertising agency based in Illinois, USA. This policy explains what information we collect through www.markterex.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: when you submit our contact form or book a call, we collect your first and last name, email address, company name, budget range, the message you write, and the time you choose for a call.
- Information collected automatically: like most websites, our site (hosted by Wix) records basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies. If we enable analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), they may also collect usage data, subject to your cookie choices.
- Client account data: if you become a client and grant us read-only access to your store, ad or analytics accounts, we access that data only to deliver the work you hired us for, under our separate service agreement.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule and hold calls, and send proposals you request.
- To deliver and improve our services.
- To understand how visitors use our site and improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as Wix (website, forms and bookings), Google Workspace (email and calendar) and analytics providers, and only as needed for those services; or when required by law.
Retention
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond and manage our relationship with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@markterex.com. You can control cookies through your browser and our cookie banner. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, and we will honor valid requests.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls on client accounts and read-only access wherever possible. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
Our site and services are not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
